Avalon this name I believe we are all familiar with, Avalon series mining machine by Jia Nan Yun Zhi company production and development, the company since 2013 began to release mining machine, can be said to be the originof the global mining machine industry. In September this year, avalon's latest A9 series officially put on sale, the first A921 with a 7nm ASIC chip and close to the people's price (5400 yuan) naturally attracted a lot of attention.

Let's first look at the internal structure of the mining machine.

Remove the shell of the mining machine, we observe from the air outlet, we can see that the layout of the internal radiator is very close.

Observing from one side of the air inlet, it can be seen that the interior of the mining machine is splice together by two symmetrical units along the longitudinal central axis.

For further disassembly of the above units, we took out a single heat sink and a force plate, as shown in the figure below:

We can see that the chips are evenly distributed on two parallel metal plates in a single calculation plate, and 26 chips are designed on a single metal plate, so the number of chips in a single calculation plate is 26*2=52. Based on the symmetry of the units at both ends of the inner axis of the mining machine, we can know that the total number of chips in the mining machine is 104. The spacing of the chips is sparse from the air inlet to the air outlet, and the surface of each chip is coated with thermal silicon grease to improve heat dissipation efficiency.

Removing the thermal grease on the surface of the chip exposes the chip model A3206.
